Notes

A country's energy policy is critical to success in the transition from fossil fuels. France moved quickly to nuclear power. Canada has abundandant hydropower. Japan shut down nuclear power after Fukushima, but is now restoring it. Germany has made a huge effort to do it with wind and solar alone. Denmark is using biofuels for backup.
