English: Nguyen Ngoc Bich (1911–1966) as a student wearing the École polytechnique uniform for the school yearbook. At the lower-right corner of the photo, Bich wrote a dedication to his parents: "Chers parents, Ma reconnaissance [... unreadable] profonde [... unreadable]" [Dear parents, my deep gratitude...]
