The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, informally the Foreign Secretary, is the United Kingdom's foreign minister, the public face of foreign policy at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). This is the most senior regular position in the government of the United Kingdom after the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, though there is sometimes a Deputy Prime Minister. As of late 2023, the Foreign Secretary is David Cameron of the Conservative Party.
