Good news, I will cc Lee Berger on this.  We started a [http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/topic,1524.0.html forum discussion] for this and your input is definitely needed ;-)  If we do this right, it should be able to be really easy for instructors to keep track of their students and their work...  but I may be dreaming!  Unfortunately, I am not the best with the technical details, but we should be able to pull together some of those who are.  I do have skype as well. Just let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do to help make it happen. --[[User:D. Matt Innis|D. Matt Innis]] 19:47, 5 February 2008 (CST)

Eduzendium

What do you think [1]? --Matt Innis (Talk) 10:59, 21 June 2007 (CDT)

Hello Sorin, I created an CZ:Eduzendium Workgroup in hopes of making it easier to keep all your information in one place. I also created Category:Eduzendium Educators and Category:Eduzendium Authors and have been placing students and instructors in each. Does this look like something that will help? Is there some other way that you want to organize it? And, last but not least, should I keep going? You can leave a message here and I will find it. Thanks for your time, D. Matt, this is a brilliant idea. Let us do it. Please make sure that you include Lee Berger in this operation as well. Can we chat at some point about this, as well? Skype? --Sorin Adam Matei 12:44, 5 February 2008 (CST)

Good news, I will cc Lee Berger on this. We started a forum discussion for this and your input is definitely needed ;-) If we do this right, it should be able to be really easy for instructors to keep track of their students and their work... but I may be dreaming! Unfortunately, I am not the best with the technical details, but we should be able to pull together some of those who are. I do have skype as well. Returning to Citizendium: an update on the project and how to get involved

Hello - some time ago you became part of the Citizendium project, but we haven't seen you around for a while. Perhaps you'd like to update your public biography or check on the progress of any pages you've edited so far.

Citizendium now has over 16,000 articles, with more than 150 approved by specialist Editors such as yourself, but our contributor numbers require a boost. We have an initiative called 'Eduzendium' that brings in students enrolled on university courses to write articles for credit, but we still need more Editors across the community to write, discuss and approve material. There are some developed Computers and Media articles that could be improved and approved, and some high-priority Applied Sciences articles that we don't have yet. You can also create new articles via this guide, and contribute to some Computers or Media pages that have been recently edited here and here - or to any others on Citizendium, since you're a general Author as well as a specialist Editor. You may like to contribute to discussions in the forums, and might consider running for an elected position on the Management and Editorial Councils that oversee the project.

If you have any questions, let me know via my Talk page or by leaving a message below this one. Thank you for signing up and reading this update; I hope that you will look in on our community soon. John Stephenson 13:52, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
