Quick question, why do we have a French version of the Direct 8 article? Chris Day (talk) 13:43, 20 September 2007 (CDT)
We haven't deleted it because, frankly, I was waiting for someone to move it to a subpage of a to-be-created CZ:En français page. --Larry Sanger 14:15, 20 September 2007 (CDT)
Ehh... Why do we have a completely French Article? This isn't a bilingual Encyclopedia! I don't have a clue what this article is about! Denis Cavanagh 17:50, 1 January 2008 (CST)
- A year on... :) Does anyone have any idea what to do about this? John Stephenson 07:41, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- I think we could use it as a test case for integrating non-English contents. One option to do this would be to put it into a /French subpage but since this is not backed by current policy, I just copied the French page into Direct 8/Addendum. --Daniel Mietchen 12:28, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Another year on... :) Now it's in a subpage of Direct 8, is there any reason not to delete this article? John Stephenson 04:50, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Don't see any. Will tag it now. --Daniel Mietchen 07:21, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Since this is the original page with the history on it, it should not be deleted but replace the copy at Direct 8/Addendum (or be merged with it). Moreover, to clean up, the subpages and the metadata will have to be deleted, too.
Then this talk page should be moved to an Archive of Direct 8. (I would do this, but first the Addendum has to be deleted or merged.) --Peter Schmitt 09:46, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- When you've got it worked out to your satisfaction, please post the Delete Templates in the necessary places and the Kops will do their jobs. BUT, as I have said elsewhere, I myself will now ONLY delete pages that have actual Templates on them. Hayford Peirce 16:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
