Snowboarding is a sport related to skiing, in which a snowboard is used in place of skis. A snowboard consists of the actual board, the links, and the boots, with which both of the boarder's feet will be attached to the board.
History of Snowboarding
Snowboarding developed in the 1960s when surfing was very popular, and it is possible that snowboarding evolved from that.
