A definition or brief description of Warfighter Information Network–Tactical.

Deployed in several increments of increasing capability, this is the future tactical communications system for the U.S. Army, which will be easier to deploy, have far more bandwidth, and eventually will be a continuously mobile self-organizing network compatible with Future Combat Systems and its replacement. Through the Army Battle Command System, it interfaces to the Global Information Grid.
