As a template...
I like this, although it shows why there should be exceptions. For example, I normally put education as a separate section towards the end, but when someone has been on a faculty, it's legitimate to have earlier.
Subcommittees need to be listed; I don't think a source is needed for this readily available material.
We still have to think about where to put key votes and position, although recent ones belong in the lede. Howard C. Berkowitz 16:33, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- Just as a clarification: when I use the word "template" in connection with this article, I don't mean a wiki-template, but rather an outline. The idea is to set up such an outline for a "bare bones" article on a congressional rep.
- The VoteRatings section I had hoped to put in the form of an InfoBox (formal wiki structure) as it will be used on 535 pages. But apparently the InfoBox supports only 2-column information. That would work if all that was wanted was the organization and their rating. The third column - for sources - should (in my opinion) go directly to the primary source of information rather than a secondary listing as any editor who contemplates approving the article would have to check the information with the primary source.
- Still trying to track down the primary listings. ;-)
