I live in the United States with a spouse and cat(s). Worked 40 years as a programmer, sysadmin, professor, and tech-of-all-trades consultant. Formal education: M.A. in public sector management; and M.S. in computer science, most of a Ph.D. (not completed) in Germanic linguistics and literature, and B A. in liberal arts, major English.
