Geographic history subpages using extremely inconsistent naming
As a bunch of us recently were working on restoring removed/vandalized subpages, I came across some of the articles under "Geographic histories", but I could only see one at a time, and I started renaming them--badly as it turns out. Now that I've seen all the names side by side, I see the mess. First of all, in the U.S., "Railways" would be "Railroads", but we can fix that with a redirect. I think they should all be moved to names like "Railway history (U.S.A.)" for consistency and to be like the overall naming convention. However, now that there are subpages, the move is complicated--so I guess, John S. or I should do it. I will be working on this when I get time. Thought it worth noting here, as people will see the changes and may wonder why.Pat Palmer (talk) 14:56, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
