Citizendium users may port content from other sites that use a compatible Creative Commons license (see CZ:License).

For porting content from Wikipedia see CZ:How to convert Wikipedia articles to Citizendium articles

Please respect the wishes of authors on other wikis and add appropriate attribution notices to articles and subpages you create that reuse content from other sites. For convenience, please list them below in the 'ported articles' section.

Compatible sites (and how to use them)

  • Wikia wikia.com – contains many community-run wikis on entertainment including television, video games, anime, movies and other fan universes.
Some content will be appropriate for main articles, others will be useful for subpages.
Character and episode guides (for TV, movies, games etc.) can be placed in Catalogs subpages.
The Recipes Wikia can be used on Recipes subpages.
  • StrategyWiki strategywiki.org – fan-created video game walkthroughs and information.

Incompatible sites

  • WikiHow wikihow.com – uses Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-ShareAlike which is incompatible with Citizendium's license.
