Belizean dollar

The dollar has been the unit of currency of Belize since 1973, when British Honduras changed its name to Belize. The Belizean dollar, like the British Honduras dollar, which it replaced, is divided into 100 cents. The currency sign for the Belizean Dollar is '$'.
