C. J. Cherryh is a prolific American science fiction writer, winner of three Hugo awards and author of the wildly successful Foreigner series consisting of 21 volumes in 2020. In recent years, she has concentrated fully on that series is still adding about one book per year to it, developing a long, consistent history of the world and surrounding universe.
