Marzio Sala was born in Italy in 1974. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. His PhD thesis in Applied Mathematics is entitled "Domain Decomposition Preconditioners: Theoretical Properties, Application to the Compressible Euler Equations, Parallel Aspects", and was obtained in 2003 from EPFL. Then, he moved to Sandia National Laboratories, where he joined the Trilinos project, developing algebraic multigrid preconditioners, and studying programming technniques for mathematical applications. Biographical Sketch

Marzio Sala was born in Italy in 1974. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
