Hey, jacob, i have no idea if your gradnfather is notable enough to be in the encylcopedia but I agree with Eric that this is a great way for you to learn the style of the encyclopedia. As Eric says too, you can always use sub pages in your user space. They can have any name you wish, although many use ''sandbox''. See yours, that i just created from your article, here [[User:Jacob F. Roecker/Sandbox]]. You can realy experiment there and leave any kind of mess without worrying about others coming and cleaning up. Welcome here and get your hands dirty :) If you need help just ask.
