That would be easy to do but I wonder if it is really necessary since those articles still show up as red links anyway. :I agree with joe, they are obvious enough and I hate having too many icons. I was even thinking if we can make the icon we have smaller still (although that is a huge design issue so just ignore me). One issue i would like changed if possible is tjhat the yellow is still too light for me. I wonder if we might be able have colours that give a little more contrast. I'll try and find a pallete of recognised high contrast colours. Chris Day (talk) 13:16, 28 September 2007 (CDT) |

Joe, what is the plan for the 2 parameter, I note you have not used it on the priority list. Could it not be shortened to the following?
{{#ifeq: {{Template:{}/Metadata|info=status}}|0 |}}}|<font color="#006400">{}</font> |{{#ifeq: {{Template:{}/Metadata|info=status}}|1 |}}}|<font color="#B8860B">{}</font> |{{#ifeq: {{Template:{}/Metadata|info=status}}|2 |}}}|<font color="#ff8c00">{}</font> |{{#ifeq: {{Template:{}/Metadata|info=status}}|3 |}}}|<font color="#ff4500">{}</font> |{{#ifeq: {{Template:{}/Metadata|info=status}}|4 |}}}|<font color="#DC143C">{}</font> |}}}}} }} }} }} }}

Parameter 2 is used a couple of times. It replicates normal links that are piped. So Maya becomes Maya peoples --Joe Quick (Talk) 14:32, 17 September 2007 (CDT)
Now I get it. I misread the code. But do we need to pipe links in a priority list? Or is that you thinking ahead to article space? Chris Day (talk) 16:08, 17 September 2007 (CDT)
We probably don't really need to pipe links in a priority list. It just looks kind of silly to have the word "language" so many times in such a short list:
There are a few other similar situations, and it allows me to write things like " This is an example of an approved article" but it wouldn't be a big deal to drop the piping. --Joe Quick (Talk) 17:07, 17 September 2007 (CDT)
- Don't get me wrong, i think it could be useful, i just was not sure where you were taking it. Chris Day (talk) 21:41, 17 September 2007 (CDT)
Red link icon?
What about having an icon for nonexisting pages?
That would be easy to do but I wonder if it is really necessary since those articles still show up as red links anyway. --Joe Quick (Talk) 09:54, 28 September 2007 (CDT)
