I would not deny that Truman was fairly liberal in his presidency, in terms of economic policy and civil rights. But he was a senator from Missouri, which is part of the ultra-conservative Old South. liberal form Missouri?
I would not deny that Truman was fairly liberal in his presidency, in terms of economic policy and civil rights. But he was a senator from Missouri, which is part of the ultra-conservative Old South.
