Hi, Tammy!  I was just adding a few sentences to your "Secretary of State" article to explain the difference between state-government Secretaries of State and the Federal one.  I noticed that at the top of your useful list of websites, you said that in AK, HI, and UT, "you have to contact the lieutenant governor's office."  I assume that this means that in those 3 states, the SoS's office does not handle some specific task (like registering corporations) that you've written a Citizendium article about or that you have a professional interest in.  I thought that maybe in this article, though, there could be a complete list of all 50 state SoS offices, and maybe the information about those 3 states could be moved to the article on LLC's or whatever is applies to.  Or perhaps I would understand better if you were to explain a little bit within the SoS article that "in those 3 states, the SoS does not do blah-blah-blah; the Lt. Gov. does it instead." Anyway, I'm just curious now :)  [[User:Bruce M.Tindall|Bruce M.Tindall]] 17:55, 7 May 2008 (CDT)

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. Secretary of State

Gov. does it instead." Anyway, I'm just curious now :) Bruce M.Tindall 17:55, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
