This is a list of presidents of Brazil.
Notes:
- The first two presidents were military engaged on the fall of monarchy.
- The period from 1893 to 1930 is called Velha República, old republic, a time when the elections were highly suspicious. The candidates were chosen mostly by the elites of São Paulo and Minas Gerais States, in turns.
