The University of Pennsylvania is an Ivy League U.S. institution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, commonly referred to as Penn or UPenn. It is the fourth oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Dr. Liz Magill was inaugurated in July 2022 as the University of Pennsylvania's 9th president, its first new leader in 18 years.
