O'Conor Don, Chief of the Name and Prince of Connacht (English spelling Connaught; in Irish, Ó Conchubhair Donn) is the most senior descendant of the Kings of Connacht, who ruled their kingdom in western Ireland from before historical records which begin c. 5th century until 1175 when Roderic O'Conor entered into the Treaty of Windsor and recognized English sovereignty over all of Ireland.
