Huba Wass de Czege is a retired brigadier general in the United States Army, and a writer and theoretician of military doctrine, especially of operational art.[1] He served two combat tours in Vietnam. At the Training and Doctrine Command, he had major responsibility for the U.S. deep battle doctrine of AirLand Battle. He was the founding director of the School of Advanced Military Studies at the Command and General Staff College. After retirement, he was involved in the Army After Next project. Education
