Where I started
I was born in London in 1950 and have a degree in English (Peterhouse, Cambridge). For many years I worked as a teacher of the language, in Mâcon, France; Mondovì, Italy; Beckenham, England; and finally in various locations in Portugal; I am now retired in Esposende.
Wikipediana
I was just becoming an enthusiast for Wikipedia when I stumbled across its article on Citizendium. And, while I saw the obvious advantage of an unvandalisable alternative, I am not a disaffected Wikipedian, and have never shared the disgust that some CZns feel for WP—despite its real frailties, e.g. unreliability and the consequent tyranny of having to find a reliable source, and the ever-present danger of clique rule.
