The Geheyan dam is a large dam on the Xiangjiang, a tributary of the Yangtze River, in Hubei Province, China.Template:Ref

Design work on the dam began in 1987.Template:Ref The dam is equipped with a ship lift capable of lifting vessels of 300 tons displacement.Template:Ref

The dam played an important role in helping to ameliorate the impact of the 1998 Yangtze flooding.Template:Ref
