Founded in 1994, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) works to promote and secure equal rights for not only Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), but all Americans. It also educates other Members of Congress about the history, contributions and concerns of AAPIs, a diverse community of 16 million Americans. Rep. Mike Honda is the current chair.
