Agouti-related peptide/Agouti-related protein (AgRP) is a neuropeptide produced in by the AgRP/NPY neurons found ventromedial part of the arcuate nucleus in the hypothalamus.

AgRP and NPY are potent simulators of appetite, and decrease metabolism and energy expenditure.
