Hello! My name is Joseph Krol. I came across it a few years ago, but was under the age limit. I recently rediscovered the site using StumbleUpon (which I wholeheartedly recommend) and decided to join as I have been looking for a general online encyclopaedia to contribute to; I believe that Wikipedia has a plethora of contributors and I wished to help with a smaller encyclopaedia and also have the ability to add more than a few facts due to almost everything having a long article already. I applied for OpenSite but received no reply, and the forum was blocked from new accounts! I had known of Citizendium but incorrectly held the view that contributors had to have large amounts of qualifications, but have since discovered the error of my ways!

I read the article on the United Kingdom this morning and was interested by it. I found that it included demographic data without being boring and it seemed to me that it was not written by a computer, a quality I enjoy in encyclopaedic articles.

I have recently started my GCSEs, and have projected grades of A* in English, ICT and Business (these are the only ones I have received thus far).

I have a broad range of interests, including transport systems, game shows and places in my local area. I would not be limited to writing to these though and would write about anything that catches my eye.
