AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps is a program established by the United States government and funded primarily by federal and state sources, in which members receive a small stipend monthly stipend from the government, and are rewarded with scholarship funds upon the completion of some set amount of hours of work. The stipend, scholarship, and hours requirements have been modified from time to time throughout the existence of the program.
