Biography

I am Mark Devlin, CEO of Crisscross KK, a Tokyo-based publishing company. Crisscross publishes Japan Today (http://www.japantoday.com), the world's No 1 English news and discussion site about Japan, and Metropolis, Japan's No 1 English magazine (http://www.metropolis.co.jp), a 64-80 page weekly city guide that is distributed free of charge to 70,000 foreign residents in Tokyo and the surrounding areas. Crisscross also runs a social network, called Crisscross (http://www.crisscross.com).

I came to Japan <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan> in 1989 from Scotland<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland>, and live close to Omotesando <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omotesando>, Tokyo <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo>. I studied Production Engineering<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Production_Engineering>and Management at Strathclyde University <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strathclyde_University>, Glasgow<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasgow>.
