Biography:
I was born in 1976 in Kloof, a suburb of Durban, Natal (KwaZulu-Natal), South Africa. I grew up in nearby Pietermaritzburg, the capital of Natal. I attended Kearsney College near Durban and later went on to Durban High School where I graduated valedictorian, class of 1993. I then continued on to the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg. While there I received my bachelor's degree as well my Masters of Business Administration. I worked as a business advisor for Waternet (http://www.waternetonline.ihe.nl/) in Harare, Zimbabwe. I worked there from 1998 until 2004 when I became a lecturer/instructor at the University of Stellenbosch, where I worked until November of 2006. Currently, I am an accountant at an IT Company in Cape Town where I reside with my wife and two young children. I've done a lot of travelling in my life, including much of the US, Canada, the UK, and much of Africa. I have had my editorials and the occasional article published in the South African papers: Die Burger, Cape Argus, and the Daily Sun.
