Iron and dialysis

The paper suggesting this is 1996, before much of the hepcidin work. Since hepcidin blocks iron absorption through the intestine, the point would remain valid if the iron is parenteral, but there would be reason to question the efficacy of oral iron. Howard C. Berkowitz 16:18, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
