Crowded House is a rock group formed in Australia, and owing much to New Zealand personnel - in particular guiding influence, Neil Finn.

The band has been through several incarnations, and has experienced extended periods of hiatus during a career that has spanned almost a quarter of a century since the band formed in Melbourne, Australia, releasing its debut album in 1986.

The New Zealand roots of the group lie in the now defunct band Split Enz.
