Science, engineering and technology

  • Concentration: A measure (used in science, engineering, technology and general common usage) of how much of a given substance there is in a given mixture of substances.
  • Concentration (chemistry): A measure of the amount of a substance (measured in units of mole) present in a given volume of reference (usually measured in units of litres or cubic metres).
