The sport of football in Spain is administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (Real Federación Española de Fútbol; RFEF). Spain was a founder member of FIFA in 1904 and of UEFA in 1954. The team won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and has also won the UEFA European Championship three times. Among the most famous Spanish footballers are Alfredo di Stéfano (who was Argentinian by birth but acquired Spanish citizenship in 1956), Francisco Gento, Raúl González Blanco (Raúl) and Andrés Iniesta.
