Library professional--I am a library director in Iowa--sick of the blockhouse-guarded inaccuracies and politicizing of fact online. I am especially concerned about the way that the genealogy of ideas is purposely muddled so as to make the origins of certain lines of thinking unclear, especially when they are used as the basis for public policy.
