Roger Bell holds a B.A. in political science and history from Mercer University and an M.Ed. with a concentration in U.S. history from the University of Georgia.. He has 15 years experience in public education and over 18 years experience in technical communication.

He currently works as a technical writer near Atlanta, where he develops online Help and other documentation for business software. He is a senior member of the Society for Technical Communication and has won numerous awards for his work.

His hobbies and interests include gardening, reading, world travel, nanotechnology, gadgets, computer technology, history, politics, religion, writing, social justice, films and movies, TV, popular culture, vegetarianism, blogging at Matthew 25[1], Web design, music, civil discourse, Atlanta, and Georgia.
