Notes
- ↑ The slogan "Trenton Makes, the World Takes" refers to Trenton's former factory output of products used around the world.
- ↑ I lived in the vicinity of Trenton in 2016, and although I can't find an online reference to prove it, I recall that the burnt-out "Trenton Makes The World Takes" letters on the railroad bridge were only correctly lit just before Trump visited, one surmises at the request of then NJ governor Chris Christy. Everyone was laughing about how that's what it took to get the lights repaired. ~~~~
