Purpose

As explained on the category page itself, this is a root for all football content to provide an easier navigation process so that readers do not have to skip to the related articles whenever they wish to search for a football topic. The articles held in the category are the subject's key topics and they are the only ones included in the metadata-based football subgroup. The same approach is in use for cricket.
