Minh-Tho Government
Composed of Army of the Republic of Vietnam generals, the Military Revolutionary Council was the leadership of the coup that overthrew Ngo Dinh Diem. [1] It lasted from November 1963 to January 1963, when it was overthrown by another military group under Nguyen Khanh.
The MRC set up a civilian Provisional Government under Nguyen Ngoc Tho, who had been Diem's vice president. The real power remained with the MRC, although the relationships were complex because some individuals were in both the MRC and Provisional Government.
