Hi. I guess this is just the beginning, right ? Aren't we supposed to clean up our whole corpus ? JeromeDelacroix
We are, and I think we'll get there. More people are signing up now, I'm happy to say, and as we expand the set of Checklisted Articles, I think it's going to become increasingly clear how useful this whole effort is--so I think people will jump in. We might not be able to do most of the work in the space of a few days, the way we did with The Big Speedydelete, but we'll eventually get there. It's OK if it's not instant. --Larry Sanger 15:46, 17 March 2007 (CDT)
I'll get to work on my articles this evening.
Sorry ya'll, I haven't had much time this past week to work on the articles I was going to clean up, but tonight I should be able to.
Cheers to you all!

What about the new articles that are being made in the sections that are finished?
So after a section of articles gets "cleaned-up," what is the system for monitoring the new articles that get made and making sure they have big clean up tags as well? -Tom Kelly (Talk) 12:15, 22 April 2007 (CDT)
There is no such system, but it shouldn't be hard for someone to make a script or a database search that will find article pages with >n characters and no {{checklist on the talk page. The hope is that someone will run that script on a regular basis and post the results. --Larry Sanger 12:57, 22 April 2007 (CDT)
I notice there's quite a few pages falling throught he gaps now. What used to be blocks of 12 article, not is frequently 24 or 30 articles. Checking a few of the signed of blocks, there are many new articles in each that has been signed off. On the counter, there are many articles that have been checklisted by passers by that are on the unsigned off blocks. It's a little fustrating to go through the steps of checking the article only to click on the talk page and find it's already checklisted.
Can we have the todo list reformated so that only the unchecklisted articles show up. Derek Harkness 08:48, 10 May 2007 (CDT)
As of my count tonight, there are only 34 blocks of articles that have no one assigned to clean up. I think the best course of action is to complete the task under the original premise and then revisit to see what clean up of the clean up needs to be done. Given a renewed push by active members, this can be completed in less then 2 weeks. So now would be a good time to get a script together to gather unchecklisted articles in completed blocks.
I've taken the approach of first checking the discussion to make sure no one else has done a clean up yet. In regard to the 20-30 articles per block, this is true. I simply go from the first article of the block to the last, regardless of how many are in between. Figure with articles that are already done and redirects, 20 articles is only maybe 12 anyway. - Found the page for listing CZ:Unchecklisted_Articles. So I guess this problem is not solved. If we finnish of the last few blocks here then start working down that list.
