Removed from the deletion list, but only provisionally
This article had many problems, and we'd be within rights just to delete it. I spent some time making minimal upgrades to it:
- stated the reason why this guy is of interest in the opening sentence (reader should not have to go in 2-3 paragraphs before learning that)
- stated who "Rutherford" is (readers unfamiliar with the news from 2016 in Canada would have no clue)
- adding links to some other articles
The worst problem, however, is that this article is an island. Nothing links TO it. Before I worked on it today, it also did not crosslink to any other articles. Also, it was written in the present tense without giving a clue to readers WHEN the "present tense" situation was last found to apply. In future, articles about living persons with this many problems will simple by deleted forthwith. This one still needs to get some incoming links to be keepable. I'll leave it here for now, but only provisionally, and with a certain amount of grumpiness.Pat Palmer (talk) 13:17, 14 July 2024 (CDT)
