Illuminated or illustrated?
Just checking, but is illuminated the correct word? David E. Volk 01:49, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
- "Illuminated", I think, when it comes to old stuff has a specific meaning -- see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminated_manuscript so without further research, I'm sure that this is the correct word. Hayford Peirce 01:57, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
- Illuminated is correct. When I worked at the Library of Congress, I had the pleasure of looking at a number of them, which could be incredible pieces of art, seemingly glowing from within. Howard C. Berkowitz 02:07, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
