I wonder if these sources are sanitizing the safety of the mining process a little bit

Is "in situ leach" mining really anything like a form of fracking, where unregulated chemicals end up being injected into the earth? Just wondering. If it is, this article will need some serious adjustment.Pat Palmer (talk) 17:25, 3 January 2023 (CST)
