Judging by the name, this is at least a variant of a traditional African game. There's actually a whole family known to us as mancala games, some of them with names like owari, uwaru, wari etc. Peter Jackson (talk) 10:26, 18 November 2020 (UTC)

Peter, I know next to nothing about most of these games. I only remember a couple of them. So if you know anything, please just write it! I'm looking at them because I've always enjoyed a select few board and card games, and maybe will look into some of them in the future. Glad you are watching.
