Suggestion: How about mentioning the renovations in the mid 1970's which led to the gold flame, previous green glass (?). Might also mention that visitors used to be able to climb up the arm. Larry Yount 22:15, 26 July 2007 (CDT)

"The statue still stands today on Ellis Island, New York" I think what we want to say is that it stands close to Ellis island. we've already stated that it stands on Liberty island. -Derek Hodges 22:12, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
