A. Daniel Knaub has established the world's largest video archives of whale behaviors. The archives were filmed on Stellwagen Bank in the Gulf of Maine. Sightings from more than 17,000 commercial whale watch trips from 1988-2003 are preserved on videotape. The archives represent 68,000 hours on Stellwagen Bank and 30,000 hours of review and annotation.

All Gulf of Maine whale, fish and bird species are included. Behaviors and associations of more than 500 known individual humpback whales have been annotated.
