My mother was an actress and my father a computer engineer. I received an MFA in theatre and taught acting and directed plays at a college on Long Island for 10 years. Then I taught myself computer programming and got a job in technology, working at a law firm in NY. In addition, I've been on a spiritual quest, exploring Quakerism, Zen Buddhism, Judaism and the men's movement. I value clear thinking inspired by passion and commitment.
