Erin Horakova is an undergraduate double majoring in History and English at the University of Iowa. She is from Columbia, Missouri and has studied Egyptology at the University of Chicago and done coursework in microeconomics and political communications at Stanford. She studied Spanish language at the Instituto Alhambra. She has lived in Chicago, Illinois, Palo Alto, California, Iowa City, Iowa and Sevilla, Spain (Andalusia). Primarily her research focuses on Russian historiography, the kibbutzim, 19th century British history and literature, fan subcultures and television/media history.
Her participation in Citizendium is under the direction of Marshall Poe's graduate class, 'The Art and Craft of Historical Writing.'
