Born in 1963, I did my MBBS from Army Medical College Rawalpindi (Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad) in 1984, and FCPS in General Medicine in 1995 (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan). I have been serving in the Pakistan Army Medical Corps since 1984. My special interest is in Liver and Hepatic diseases.

In my pasttime I like to read. Physics , especially astrophysics interests me greatly and I try to read about the subject whenever I can find time.

I am a religious person and have read Islam in some detail, and these days am reading comparative religions.
