At the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Kvamme leads pedagogical development, fosters faculty use of educational technology and develops other educational initiatives. She completed her Doctor of Education degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. Kvamme also holds a masters of art from New York University (NYU/ICP Program) and a bachelors of fine art from Kutztown University.
